Customize your lead qualification process with the Fullscope Lead Qualification Solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (formerly Dynamics CRM). It allows the records created by the lead qualification process to be customized, either as a system-wide default or on a record by record basis for end users. Lead qualification can create all three possible records—contact, account, and opportunity—or any one or more of the possible records.
About the Solution
When we look at the lead qualification process in Microsoft Dynamics 365, there is a standard outcome for a lead. It includes creating a new Account, Contact and Opportunity when a lead is “Qualified” (see diagram of Qualifying Leads above). When the lead is disqualified, no new records get created. In either situation the Lead record becomes a closed record in the solution.
This process works well for many customers, most of the time. But what if you don’t want to create an Opportunity every time, or you want to associate the “Qualified” Lead to an existing Opportunity? For example, you get 5 Leads from a Trade Show that all work at the same Company and you want to “Qualify” the Leads and only create 1 Opportunity. This scenario is not supported out of the box so we have created our Lead Qualification Solution to handle this scenario—check out this video showing it.

About the Release
Fullscope has released version 2.0.0 of the Lead Qualification Solution, available at no cost to clients with current maintenance agreements for this solution.
Improvements in version 2.0.0 include:
- Updated to CRM 8.2 (Dynamics 365)
- Updated ribbon button to have a flyout supporting multiple qualification status reasons
- Updated solution guide
This version is an enhancement and bugfix release to add support for multiple qualification status reasons. It brings this solution in line with our current standards, and therefore an optional update. There are no known compatibility issues with previous releases and CRM 8.2 (Dynamics 365), so this is an optional update for customers using only a single qualification status reason.
