I recently had a client experience a strange error when trying to create a quick campaign. By writing this blog, I’m hoping to save a lot of time and frustration for the next person experiencing this same issue.
In the screenshot below, the error message states, “You have exceeded the maximum number of 0 characters in this field”. I reviewed all fields to ensure none were set to 0 characters. After a lot of research, I realized the Email “Wizard” form had been deactivated. By simply reactivating this form, the error message went away. Below are a few print screens of the issue and resolution.
Here is the error message:
1. Open your solution or customization window. Navigate to and expand the Email entity, select forms, and change the view from “Active Forms” to “Inactive Forms”
2. Select the “Wizard” form and click activate
3. Be sure to Publish and refresh your system
4. The error on Quick Campaign should now be gone!
