What is the D365 Field Service schedule board?

The Dynamics 365 Field Service schedule board is a drag and drop interface for easy scheduling and rescheduling of work orders and other entities. The board consists of filters such as type of service, territory or even certain characteristics. There are also settings that allow for configuration of dispatcher time zones – making it even easier for each individual dispatcher to manage their own tailored scheduled board.

There a several ways to manually schedule a work order. You can drag unscheduled work orders from the list view available, you can drag unscheduled work orders from the map view or block out a slot on the schedule board directly.

  • Territory
