First Look at the Microsoft Dynamics 365 New Release – Deprecation

By Donna Coxon | December 10, 2017

Now that the new Dynamics 365 (the July release) is available, I want to cover the features that have been or will be removed. It is always imperative to know the things that are being deprecated so that you can prepare for that in your customizations and prepare end-users moving forward.

Items such as Outlook client is moving to the Outlook app. You will no longer need to do installs on every single machine of every department in your organization but instead will move toward using the Outlook app, which you can deploy to all users and use server-side sync to track records from your outlook to CRM seamlessly.

Dialogs, parature knowledge base, standard SLA's, contracts, and mail merge are other features that are being deprecated.

Watch this video for a quick demo discussing in detail the features that are changing in the new release (also called the July Release) of Dynamics 365 formerly Dynamics CRM.
