Omni-Channel Selling is one of the latest trends in sales automation, but who exactly does it apply to? By now, most companies have adopted some form of an ancillary quote and order facility to extend the process to users outside of the corporate headquarters. This is typically through a CRM application that the field sales team can use to feed new orders to the home office ERP system. However, traditionally most companies have stopped there, believing they are not the type of business that would allow non-employees to input a quote or order into their system. Today, more companies are realizing the benefits of extending the quote and order process to all of their sales channel partners.
