3 Business Problems that Were Solved when George’s Purchased Fullscope’s BI Accelerator

Dec 5, 2017 7:00 PM

Vance Nichols, BI Architect at George’s, Inc—a chicken processing manufacturerrecently spoke with us about their Reporting and BI initiative which was executed in parallel with their implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP. George’s had three main challenges to overcome:

  1. They were struggling with re-plaforming their legacy Hyperion Essbase BI solution, to a Microsoft-centric platform.
  2. They needed a solution to effectively integrate legacy ERP data with the new Dynamics AX data for reporting and analytics post AX go-live.
  3. They understood they needed a data warehouse for operational reporting, and did not have time to develop it greenfield.

Per Vance, “We chose Fullscope's Reporting & BI Accelerator because it could help us address our key challenegs related to reporting in Dynamics AX, in an automated fashion without having to create massive amounts of SQL code to do that. We also found that the price of the accelerator package was very attractive, as the closest competitor could not match the capabilities along with the price. It was highly cost effective and highly effective in addresing our business problems.”

Fullscope's BI practice area is a growing area of Fullscope's business. If you, too, are experiencing similar challenges, then Fullscope’s Reporting & BI Accelerator could be your solution. To hear more about Vance’s experience with our Accelerator, the business value realized, and increased efficiency in delivering reporting to his organization, watch the webcast - Customer Success Stories with Fullscope's Reporting and BI Accelerator.

CRM Trends in CPG

May 14, 2014 8:00 PM

Written by Wendell Simmons

For decades, consumer packaged goods brands (CPG) have leveraged Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions to engage with retail trade customers and the end-consumers like you and me. It's not always been an obvious fit; most CRM systems are designed for the hunter-gatherer sales model with a leads-opportunities-orders workflow. CPG brands are more aligned with the farming sales model built around the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) workflow model. Best-of-breed TPM solution vendors emerged to address the TPM process with stand-alone systems.  Brand account teams ended up using several separate systems to manage their retailer and consumer relationships.
